New Tool Fucking Sucks

Postby MondoBizarro » Thu Apr 27, 2006 11:54 pm

tool song "vicariously? fucking sucks. go ahead and be a stereotypical tool fan and go against that, but Tool's hardcore fans are the bigggest douches on earth. you know when Tool rocked? when they had 4 minute songs that actually "rocked" and not played out 8 minute borefests that are dangerously pretentious. yeah, i will puke if i get another 4 minutes of art cunts banging pipes together.

let me know how much I am wrong and I will let you know what a real band is.

plus maynards lyrics are so gay it makes von dutch hats seems "nascar"

I was saying this when they released their last album. I used to think I liked them when I was in middle school, but I just had to realize that their isn't anything they have to offer that I enjoy.

Not wierd, just press fodder.

I grew tired of that band after their first record.

RE-HASH.

Don't let Mondo fool you. He loved Tool just as much as the rest. The Tool concert I went to when they put out their last album was the most amazing show I have seen, and I think anyone would enjoy seeing them.

Hope I didn't ruin your underground cred again there, fancypants. :|

Taken from toolband.com: Danny grew up in Paola, KS. Relatively normal, an element of mystery was added to Danny's childhood when one day he spied his father with a large sword conducting a Masonic ritual. Danny would later notice himself performing similar movements when he began playing drums at the age of thirteen.

Hey Hey.... take it easy here. NickelBack is just another gang of small town Canadian boys living the American Rock and Roll dream. They come from a town the size of Claxton and now they live in Malibu no doubt.... just down the road from Alanis Morissette??? Sombody must love them ;>)

Then enjoy this. I left it out only because it got more.. ridiculous.

More from toolband.com on Mr. Drummerman: As Danny progressed through high school and then college at the University of Missouri in Kansas City he began supplementing his studies in percussion with speculation into the principles of geometry, science, and metaphysics. A commitment to life as an artist brought Danny to LA where he was able to perform as a studio drummer with projects like Carole King and play around town with Pygmy Love Circus. He would later find an outlet for addressing a fuller scope of his potentials in Tool and another project operating under the title of Zaum. Despite not becoming a Mason or aligning himself with any other school of religion, Danny has maintained his heritages interest in occult studies. Endeavors into this realm have manifested periodically, such as the time he achieved insight into a hidden aspect of the unicursal hexagram utilizing an astral journey initiated through meditation and DMT. Danny then set up his drums into proportions utilizing the circle and square of the New Jerusalem and uttered a short prayer relating to the principles of the ace of swords from the book of Thoth. He then performed a ritual utilizing his new found knowledge of the unicursal hexagram to generate a pattern of movement in space relating to Fuller's vector equilibrium model. The resulting rhythm and gateway summoned a daemon he has contained within "the Lodge" that has been delivering short parables similar to passages within the Book of Lies. Danny recommends as a device of protection and containment a thorough study and utilization of the underlying geometry of the Temple of Solomon for anyone purchasing their next record.

The new tool DOES SUCK!. coming from a tool fan. dont buy it, unless youre prepared to listen to the same shit over again.

Dear tool,

please come up with a new riff, your tired beats and riffs are boring, your fans and most everyone have lost interest a long time ago.

p.s. - variations on the same riff are very tiring also. try a different key or variation of the scale you know......atleast.

Dear Squalid,

Thanks so much for the advice. If only we had followed the model of your band, then maybe we would have had at least some success. As far as trying a different key or scale goes..... We had a band meeting the other night and Maynard said, "Guys, we need to try something different. I heard of this band down in Georgia called Squalid and they have the most original music I've ever heard. I'm tired of selling lots of cds, I want to play in Statesboro!" Well, Maynard was right. Please, please, please, if you have an opening slot available at your next show, I ask that you please consider us. Maybe if we're really fortunate, you might be able to introduce us to Ace from The Real World.

Sincerely and with admiration, TOOL

Dear Tool,

Thank you so much. Now that you've realized that you can only pass the same song over and over again for a few albums i'm looking foward to your next album. You've really let alot of tool fans down with this new album including me. You know, I think I liked you guys alot better when you were'nt selling tons of cd's. I can remember picking up my first tool album so many years ago and saying wow this is a fresh new sound, I really liked it however, your new album is as stale as Savannahs air.

Thank you for not being offended by my criticism. You're a better man than I.

Sincerely,
Curt

P.S.- get back in the studio with a perfect circle, i'm still diggin that.
